Native Youth Olympics

Apparently Mckay may be part native.  

Mckay was invited by his school to participate in the Anchorage Native Youth Olympics (open to all school kids, native and non-native).  He competed in the two foot high kick.  It involves jumping off of two feet and kicking a ball suspended from a string keeping the feet together then landing on two feet under control.  Mckay was the highest 3-4 grade boy two foot kicker.  He kicked and landed a 46 inch high ball.  It was a fun competition and we are proud of Mckay (even if the 4th grade girls kicked higher).

Valentines Swim Meet

Natasha and Lindsey participated in the Valentines Swim Meet here in Anchorage on Feb. 7, 2009.  Rather than post only pictures I will aslo post some videos.
